The organisation's charitable purposes are: 4.1 (i) To advance religion by upholding and teaching Christian faith and values in accordance with the Statement of Faith as set by the elders of Maddiston Community Church (the Elders) from time to time as set out in the Appendices of this Constitution. (ii) meeting together regularly for the purposes of worship, prayer, Bible teaching and fellowship. (iii) the baptism of those who profess faith in Jesus Christ. (iv) regular observance of Communion. and (v) support of Christian mission locally and worldwide. 4.2 To relieve poverty by active engagement in the support of those in need and by financial contributions to poverty relief. and 4.3 To advance community development in accordance with the organisation's beliefs and principles.
