Objectives

4 The company has been formed to benefit principally the community of Ruchazie and surrounding areas for which comprises the Glasgow Ward 21 (“the Community”) with the following objects: (1)The advancement of community development (including the advancement of urban regeneration) principally within the Community. But only to the extent that the above purposes are consistent with furthering the achievement of sustainable development. The company’s objects are restricted to those set out in article 4 (but subject to article 6). The company may (subject to article 57) add to, remove or alter the statement of the company’s objects in article 4. on any occasion when it does so, it must give notice to the registrar of companies and the amendment will not be effective until that notice is registered on the register of companies. (2) To provide, assist and develop a range of leisure and education services and activities in response to community need (3) To provide employment advice, support and volunteering opportunities (4) The relief of poverty through development of social, environmental and economic activity (5) To do all such other things that are charitable in law for the attainment of these objects
