Short and Long Term Programmes run by local partners designed to encourage, develop, support and care for vulnerable and disadvantaged children, young people, families and communities

Objectives: Improve the opportunities for children and young people and offer hope of a more positive and integrated future

Beneficiaries: Children living with disabilities, orphans, social orphans, children in vulnerable families, victims of war and conflict

Location: Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine

Description: Established 50 years ago, our mission is to help disadvantaged children in Eastern Europe through the creation of long-term partnerships with local organisations. Our desire is to help children turn their lives around, so that they can lead normal and productive lives as adults, even with their ongoing disabilities and additional needs.
Our projects for families in crises, children living with disabilities, orphans and victims of the war in Ukraine include:
 preventing abandonment or supporting those who have been abandoned
 transforming lives and transforming attitudes to disability through direct action
 finding resilience in adversity through creating firm foundations for children, young people and families living in precarious conditions
 giving children a voice and a childhood through education and play
