ARTLIFT

Artlift provides Arts on Prescription services for adults in Gloucestershire living with mental and/or physical health challenges. Programmes and projects are co-produced with key stakeholder NHS Gloucestershire ICB, medical and/or VCSE professionals and Experts by Experience. We also provide Workplace Wellbeing, artist residency & consultancy services across Gloucestershire and beyond.

1 TO ADVANCE THE BENEFIT AND USE OF THE CREATIVE ARTS AS A MEANS OF PROMOTING MENTAL WELL BEING AMONGST THOSE SUFFERING FROM LONG TERM MENTAL HEALTH AND/OR PHYSICAL HEALTHCONDITIONS; OTHER PERSONS CONSIDERED TO BE VULNERABLE AND LIKELY TO BENEFIT FROM SUCH SUPPORT AND PEOPLE WHO DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO CULTURAL EXPERIENCES DUE TO THEIR SOCIAL STATUS, LOCATION OR PLACE OF RESIDENCE.2 TO PROMOTE AND SECURE THE MENTAL WELL BEING OF PERSONS SUFFERING FROM PHYSICAL AND OR MENTAL HEALTH CONDITIONS, OR WHO ARE OTHERWISE CONSIDERED TO BE VULNERABLE, THROUGH THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, SUPPORT, TRAINING, EDUCATION AND PRACTICAL ADVICE IN ORDER TO ENABLE SUCH PERSONS TO TAKE PART IN THE CREATIVE ARTS.3 TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC, OR A SECTION THEREOF, IN THE USE OF THE CREATIVE ARTS TO SUPPORT TRADITIONAL HEALTH CARE SOLUTIONS, MANAGEMENT AND TREATMENTS FOR MENTAL AND PHYSICAL ILLNESS.4 TO ASSIST PERSONS SUFFERING FROM A PHYSICAL OR MENTAL HEALTH CONDITION AND POSSESSING A DEMONSTRABLE INTEREST IN THE CREATIVE ARTS TO FORMALLY PURSUE ADULT EDUCATION AND TRAINING IN THE CREATIVE ARTS BY ALL MEANS AVAILABLE TO THE CIO.
