This two-year project is for people with additional needs and their carers and families in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk. The project aims to provide a safe and supported environment for anyone who has a physical, learning or mental disability or mental or physical health challenges, to learn new skills, gain confidence and a sense of purpose, aims and hope for the future. It also enables the wider community to see what disabled people each have to offer rather than seeing their disability or health condition alone. Activities include retail skills sessions, pottery, upcycling, recycling and crafting, gardening/horticulture and fitness.

This new two-year project provides people with additional needs in Great Yarmouth with the skills to run a community accessible shop and add pottery products as an additional line to their stock. The shop gives the participants a safe and supported environment to gain confidence and give back to the community. The project is for anyone with a physical or learning disability, mental health challenges or physical health challenges. The project enables the participants to lead a retail outlet at every level of the process. It supports them to learn and support the community, giving the participants purpose, aims, future hope and reduces social isolation.
