Meetings, drop-in sessions and activities will be offered by volunteers, many of whom are disabled and have used the service. There is also a helpline to signpost people to specialist information and support. A new strand of the project will be a telephone befriending service to make the first steps towards people accessing face-to-face support.

This is a new project that will facilitate peer support for disabled people in the Bristol and the immediate surrounding area, bringing them together to learn from each other, share experiences and provide social and emotional support to each other. The project will be largely delivered by trained volunteers who will use their personal experiences of living with a disability to break down barriers to give advice on various issues. Regular events will happen in the city with inspirational speakers.
