The project is aimed at all community members aged 50+ who are unemployed / low waged and living in Pleck, a borough of Walsall. The project provides an opportunity to get out of the house and make new friends and helps participants to feel happier and gain confidence and self-esteem. It is hoped that members will form their own project committee and the group will eventually become self-sustaining.

Homework help, exam improvement, and help with college applications is also on offer. Local people can also volunteer to become mentors.
