AIRBORNE ENGINEERS ASSOCIATION

Maintain a register of current and former members of Airborne Royal Engineers and encourage those members to remain in close contact. The Association also assists other veterans organisations in both physical and financial terms as and when requests are received, and agreed by the National Council, especially HM Forces registered charities.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • There has been strong growth in spending over the last 5 years

Regulatory & Governance issues to consider:

  • This charity does not have a Conflict of Interests policy
  • There are only 2 trustees
  • All of the Board have joined recently

Financial issues to consider:

  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
  • On several occasions in recent years income has been less than spending
