HAZELHURST TRUST

Who they support

Investment in local community activities including youth, arts, community empowerment and development of philanthropy. The charity is unable to accept unsolicited applications.

Grant criteria

The Hazelhurst Trust was established in 2006 by Matthew and Helen Bowcock to provide grants and other forms of social finance to local charities and social enterprises with an emphasis upon access to education and training. Many of the organisations that have been supported over the years are located in Surrey where the Trust is based although funding has also been given to projects in a remote area of Zambia. More recently The Hazelhurst Trust has become a core funder to a national campaign to promote greater philanthropy in the UK delivered by the Beacon Collaborative and has begun a new funding partnership in Stoke-on-Trent.

Application procedure

As a small trust, we are very sorry that we are unable to accept unsolicited applications as our funding is fully committed for the foreseeable future.
