We offer practical help to the local community in many areas of need. We have been at Cooke Street Bryn since 1987 and at the Bethel, Hindley Green since 1993. We amalgamated and adopted the joint name of Cornerstone Family Church on 18/11/2018
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • The charity has received modest backing from several prominent grant makers recently
  • There has been strong growth in spending over the last 5 years
  • There have been no material income shortfalls in recent years
  • The Board appears to be dynamic in terms of composition

Regulatory & Governance issues to consider:

  • Although this charity works with volunteers it does not have a Volunteer Management policy
  • This charity does not have a Conflict of Interests policy
  • The Board is predominantly male

Financial issues to consider:

  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
  • Accounts have been filed late on 4 occasions over the last 5 years and the current period appears to have been extended
  • Income has been volatile recently and was significantly lower than spending in the latest year
