    FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC GENERALLY, PARTICULARLY THE INHABITANTS OF SOMERSET AND ITS SURROUNDING AREAS:(A) TO PROMOTE COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION BY PROVIDING FACILITIES FOR THE PLAYING OF AND DEVELOPMENT OF CRICKET AND OTHER SPORTS THAT ARE CAPABLE OF IMPROVING HEALTH (‘FACILITIES’ IN THIS ARTICLE 1 MEANS LAND, BUILDINGS, EQUIPMENT AND ORGANISING SPORTING ACTIVITIES INCLUDING COACHING AND INSTRUCTION);(B) TO PROVIDE AND ASSIST IN PROVIDING FACILITIES FOR THE PLAYING OF AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE GAME OF CRICKET AND OTHER GAMES OR SPORT, ON A RECREATIONAL BASIS FOR THE LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF SUCH PERSONS WHO HAVE NEED FOR SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, POVERTY OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES, OR FOR THE PUBLIC AT LARGE, IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE, WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE;(C) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF PEOPLE OF ALL AGES THROUGH SUCH MEANS AS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT; AND(D) TO FURTHER SUCH OTHER EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE PURPOSES ACCORDING TO THE LAW OF ENGLAND AND WALES AS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT FROM TIME TO TIME.
