BABY WEEK

Baby Week delivers an annual week event in November. By bringing together different professionals and service users from the children's and families services it's aim is to bring up to date developments on the city wide practices in order to improve access to services for families.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • This charity has been very successful in attracting volunteers relative to its size
  • A significant proportion of recent income was derived from major grant makers including the Government and there are significant future grants due to be received

Regulatory & Governance issues to consider:

  • Although this charity works with volunteers it does not have a Volunteer Management policy
  • This charity does not have a Conflict of Interests policy
  • The Board composition appears to be rather static

Financial issues to consider:

  • On several occasions in recent years income has been less than spending
  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
