THE PAROCHIAL CHURCH COUNCIL OF THE ECCLESIASTICAL PARISH OF BATH, WESTON, ALL SAINTS

The church is committed to making known the love of God in our community and beyond in practical ways. We seek to discover God's Kingdom and we place a high value on both the teaching of God's Word and openness to the Spirit. There is something for everyone within the activities and worship of the church. We have active youth and children's programmes and events for older people too.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • The charity has received backing from several prominent grant makers recently
  • There has been reasonable growth in spending over the last 3 years relative to the previous period
  • Fundraising costs are unusually low relative to funds raised
  • The Board appears to be well diversified in terms of gender

Regulatory & Governance issues to consider:

  • Why are there 20 trustees whereas the Charities Commission recommends a maximum of 12?

Financial issues to consider:

  • Liquidity appeared to be in excess of CC guidelines at the latest year end but spending has been increasing rapidly
