Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • There have been no material income shortfalls in recent years
  • The Board appears to be dynamic in terms of composition

Regulatory & Governance issues to consider:

  • Over half the Board have joined recently

Financial issues to consider:

  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
  • Spending is declining
  • Income has been volatile recently
Comment by the Charity:
In 2017/8 we commenced fundraising for a new building on the campus at Baale Mane. This explains the volatility in the income seen in these years. Charitable donations to Baale Mane were significantly higher in the following year as designated funding for the construction project was paid to Baale Mane as each phase of the project was completed.
