THE KEYS PROJECT

Mission:

Charitable Objectives: “To relieve persons suffering from drug and alcohol misuse through a programme of detoxification and rehabilitation in order to help preserve and protect their good health in accordance with Christian principles.”
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • This charity has been successful in attracting volunteers relative to its size
  • The charity has received modest backing from several prominent grant makers recently
  • There have been no material income shortfalls in recent years
  • The Board appears to be dynamic in terms of composition

Financial issues to consider:

  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
Comment by the Charity:
In recent years, increased spending over income was the result of outstanding loan repayments. As of 2019, income has been higher than spending, and as of 2022, all loans have been repaid.
