    Objectives

    4.1 The advancement of education amongst Sudanese refugees, in Darfur, Sudan, and those displaced and currently residing within neighbouring countries, through the provision of educational materials, equipment and facilities 4.2 The advancement of health, both physical and mental, amongst Sudanese asylum seekers and refugees in Scotland and the relief of human suffering in Darfur, Sudan engendered by ongoing conflict in the region, through the provision and facilitation of access to medical interventions in both countries. 4.3 The advancement of citizenship and the promotion of civic values amongst Sudanese refugees and asylum seekers currently residing in Scotland, through encouraging and facilitating their integration into mainstream Scottish society 4.4 The relief of poverty in Darfur, Sudan, amongst people affected by the ongoing conflict in that country, through assistance with skills training that will develop and improve their agricultural abilities and lead to greater self-sufficiency. 4.5 The advancement of culture amongst Sudanese refugees and asylum seekers in Scotland through organising activities that allow them to celebrate Sudanese culture and values, both for their own benefit and for the benefit of the Scottish communities where they currently reside.
