They will support signpost and ....more The funding will be used to set up a Greener & Cleaner Youth Outreach Service for young people in the community based at the Greener & Cleaner Community Hub. They will support signpost and empower young people to reduce their environmental impact and help create a brighter future. The Youth Outreach Service aims to empower young people to consider roles in their community and for their careers to address the climate crisis to reduce their feelings of overwhelm/eco anxiety and to cut their environmental impact across the board. The project will also deliver a Sustainable Fashion Project which will allow the sharing of useful skills and awareness between generations build knowledge of jobs in the green recovery and leave young people empowered to not only mend upcycle and go ‘preloved’ with confidence but also to continue to run their own Sustainable Fashion Clubs and live events in their communities.
