Note from donor: Following my High Sheriff year I have been very keen to support an initiative at Bristol Prison to employ and train ex- prisoners using premises on the Gloucester Road as a business centre. The recently formed charity The Key- Unlock Potential has a board of impressive trustees recruited through Moon Consulting who have worked through a range of ideas for the premises which are be be provided on a peppercorn rent by the Ministry of Justice. I have been invited to attend two of their meetings and really feel that this is very much worth providing pump - priming funding for ( the Basil Brown CT has already given a £40k grant in this respect). It is intended that the project will become self- supporting.
