The funding will be used towards the salary of a specialist marketeer with an understanding of the needs of the local learning disability community who will undertake targeted market research to discover which groups of people living with a learning disability or autism along with their carers and family do not access the organisation's services and the reasons for this. The marketeer will also be responsible for producing a new suite of online and print marketing materials that are accessible to more people who have additional needs. The project aims to support more people to reach their potential by engaging underserved communities in the organisation's services.
