    4 The organisation is established for charitable purposes only, and in particular, the objects are: 4.1 To advance arts and culture by creating quality arts performances and presenting them to public audiences across Scotland encouraging appreciation of live music. by providing Scottish-based artists with opportunities further their professional practice. by commissioning and developing the creation of new artistic works for the benefit of the public, the artists and the sector as a whole. 4.2 To advance education by providing music workshops, rehearsals and performance opportunities for young people, through providing young people with opportunities for personal development and achievement, and through supporting young people's development of a range of life skills including group working, leadership and decision making. 4.3 To organise recreational activities in the arts for young people and the general public, with the object of improving the conditions of life for these people.
