4.1.1 the advancement of public participation in sport and, in particular, the promotion of participation by members of the public in Ayrshire in healthy sporting activities, including, but not limited to, football. 4.1.2 the advancement of citizenship or community development and, in particular the provision of support for community-based facilities and activities undertaken by sports clubs. 4.1.3 the provision of sport and recreational facilities, or the organisation of sport and recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended. 4.1.4 the advancement of education in the community of Ayrshire by promoting, alone or in conjunction with others, football and other sports, literacy, numeracy, life skills, and social activities to a cross section of the community. and 4.1.5 the promotion of such similar charitable purposes, objects or institutions and in such proportions and manner as the Directors shall think fit, provided that for the purposes of this Article the expressions 'charitable purpose' or 'charitable object' shall mean a charitable purpose under section 7 of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 which is also regarded as a charitable purpose in relation to the application of the Taxes Acts and a 'charitable institution' shall mean a body on the Scottish Charity Register which is also regarded as a charity in relation to the application of the Taxes Acts or a charity within the meaning of section 1 of the Charities Act 2006
