    The organisation is part of (the Fife Battalion of) the Boy's Brigade in Scotland (Registered Charity no. SC038016) and subscribes to its rules and guidance. The organisation is established for charitable purposes only, and in particular, the ?bjects are: 4.1 the advancement of education. 4.2 the advancement of religion, including but not limited to the advancement of Christ's Kingdom among Boys and the promotion of habits of Obedience, Reverence, Discipline, S.elf-Respect, . and all that tends towards a true Christian Manliness. 4.3 the advancement of citizenship or community development. 4.4 the advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science. 4.5 the advancement of public participation in sport. 4.6 the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for young people in Kirkcaldy and the surrounding areas.
