£4,000	02/12/2016	We are based in the Scottish Borders which is hugely spread out and we have service users from 5 different towns, sinse we started in 2010 we the volunteers have been using our own cars to bring our ....more We are based in the Scottish Borders which is hugely spread out and we have service users from 5 different towns, sinse we started in 2010 we the volunteers have been using our own cars to bring our service users to and from our centre in Hawick. We volunteers also have our own health issues as well and its now starting to impact on us, some have already said they wont drive the winter so some people will miss out unless we do something now. The charity desperately need our own 17 seater minibus which would solve all the problems we have, the service users would have a far more comfortable journey to our centre, us volunteers would have massive pressure lifted of us, and with this project one vehicle would be used instead of 4 cars and the hire of an adapted vehicle which is what we do now so helps our planet also.
