Objectives

(i) to provide relief and support to people experiencing disability, distress, I disadvantage or ill-health. -(ii) to promote the interests of people in need of such relief and Support. (iii) to develop new ways of providing support to people in need of such relief and support. and I (iv) to do all of the above in fidelity to the spiritual heritage of the Brothers of Charity and to the inspiration and example of the Founder, Peter Joseph Triest. As a Christian organisation in the Roman Catholic tradition The Brothers of Charity Services (Scotland) will work cooperatively with all people of goodwill to build a better woild wMe showing a particular interest in and concern for the spiritual dmension in the lives of those to whom its mission is directed. The Brothers of Charity Services (Scotland) are, therefore, committed to supporting people to participate and grow in their own particular faith tradition where this is not in conflict with the mission of the Brothers' of Charity. They will show a particular respect for people of other faiths and traditions as well as for people with no religious beliefs and they require that the Christian heritage and Roman Catholic tradition of The Brothers of Charity Services (Scotland) be fully respected by those working in the Services, by those to whom supports and services are provided and by f i d e s and all others associated with the mission of the Brothers of Charity Services (Scotland).
