Objectives

(1) To relieve the needs of persons within Glasgow and surrounding areas, and such other areas as may be determined from time to time by the directors, who are substantially or permanently disabled by providing, or encouraging the provision of, services which will improve their conditions of life and also facilitate their active participation in and full integration into society. (2) To advance education, particularly in the field of disability equality awareness. (3) To promote and/or provide training in skills of all kinds, particularly such skills as will assist those who are substantially or permanently disabled, or persons who assist in the care of those who are substantially or permanently disabled, in pursuing an independent life and aid their integration within the community. (4) To relieve unemployment for the public benefit in such ways as may be thought fit, including assistance to find employment. (5) To promote, establish and operate other schemes in furtherance of charitable purposes for the benefit of the community within Glasgow.
