Objectives

Charitable Purposes 54 The organisation’s Charitable Purposes are 54.1 To provide a community hub and a wide range of projects and activities primarily for the benefit of people living within the Moray community. 54.2 To provide a safe and inclusive place where young people of secondary school age primarily living within the Elgin community council boundary are able to meet and socialise away from the pressures of drugs, alcohol and gambling, and to provide personal and social development opportunities for all young people of secondary school age. The Group will provide projects and activities that will positively influence young people from all social, ethnic, religious and cultural backgrounds to integrate, and become valued and active members of their community. 55 The Company’s Charitable Purposes are restricted to those set out in article 3 (but subject to article 5). The Company may add to (subject to first obtaining the consent of OSCR), remove or alter the statement of the Company’s Charitable Purposes in article 4. On any occasion when it does so, it must give notice to the registrar of companies and the amendment will not be effective until that notice is registered on the register of companies.
