Objectives

The charitable purposes of the Company are to advance the education and relieve the suffering and distress of adult survivors of childhood abuse and their significant others by: 2.1 Providing or procuring the provision of counselling and support. 2.2 Providing or procuring the provision of group experiences. 2.3 Providing or procuring the provision of advocacy. 2.4 Organising and assisting in the provision of training, conferences, exhibitions, lectures and other educational activities. 2.5 Publishing and distributing books, pamphlets, reports, leaflets, journals, films, tapes and instructional matter on any medium. 2.6 Promoting, encouraging, conducting or commissioning research, surveys, studies or other work, making the results available. 2.7 Alone or with other organisations seeking to influence public opinion and making representations to and seeking to influence governmental and other bodies and institutions regarding the reform, development and implementation of appropriate policies, legislation and regulations provided that all such activities shall be confined to those which a charity may properly undertake.
