Objectives

The objects of the Adventure Playground Group shall be the provision of facilities for play, recreation and other leisure time occupations for young people in the Doon Valley Area which will improve the conditions of life for such young people by promoting their physical spiritual and mental well being. In furtherance with the objects of the group and without prejudice to the generality there of the group shall have the following powers: (a) to promote and develop an appreciation in amongst the public of the short and long term values of childrens play towards improving the conditions of life for young people in the area. (b) To examine co-ordinate and expand where desirable the resources devoted to the provision of childrens play facilities in the area.
