Objectives

(a) To promote the concept of counselling, conciliation and mediation with the object of assisting persons concerned in matrimonial disputes of any kind whatever, whether or not involved in any court proceedings and the children of such persons so far as possible in the amicable resolution of such disputes, in the appreciation and understanding of the problems and the interests of such children in adapting to and coping with their changed situations and circumstances and in any other way whatever. (b) To promote a comprehensive and co-ordinated Community Service in Tayside Region designed to meet the special needs of such persons and to promote counselling, conciliation and mediation with the objects specified at 3(a) above. (c) To promote and encourage co-operation with and amongst and support for courts, statutory and voluntary bodies and all organisations and individuals whatsoever or whomseover involved in any way with matrimonial disputes. (d) To work and campaign for the understanding and improvement of the rights and interests of such persons.
