    Objectives

    Youth 1st will advance education by providing a comprehensive training menu for young people which encourage community engagement and safety and help towards further education out-with school. Youth 1st will also provide training programmes for youth workers and volunteers so they in turn can be in a better position to provide services for young people. Youth 1st will contribute to the advancement of citizenship and community development by supporting voluntary youth groups in Fife. Youth 1st will provide networking opportunities and information for voluntary youth groups, volunteers, youth workers and other partners in the community. Youth 1st offer a comprehensive support package for youth clubs and groups which involves PVG support, Insurance, general support and advice. Youth 1st actively promote setting up new groups in the community that will benefit young people. Youth 1st also provide a number of activities and training programmes for young people that promote volunteering and working in the community in a safe and enjoyable manner. All our youth work programmes work towards making individual young people strive to better citizens within their local communities.
