    MALLUSK COMMUNITY ACTION GROUP 

    Mallusk Community Action Group is established to advance education, to promote the conservation and improvement of the physical and natural environment for the public benefit, to relieve the aged and to promote the benefit and well being of the community resident in the Mallusk and Hydepark areas and their environs of County Antrim, Northern Ireland without distinction of age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, nationality, ethnic identity, political or religious opinion, by associating the statutory authorities, community and voluntary organisations and the inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants and in particular: - to encourage public interest in, and, secure the conservation, protection, development and improvement of features of natural, historic or public interest within the area of benefit; - to advance education by promoting public awareness of the natural and social history, geography, folklore, architectural and cultural heritage of the area of benefit and its inhabitants; - to provide or to assist in the provision of recreational facilities for the beneficiaries who by reason of their youth, age, infirmity, disability, poverty or social and economic circumstances have need of such facilities so as to develop their physical, mental and emotional capacities so that their conditions of life may be improved; - to advance any other exclusively charitable purpose as the committee, may from time to time, decide in accordance with the law of charity.
