    KABALIKAT IN NORTHWEST 

    The Purposes of Kabalikat in NorthWest are: 1.1 Promote Community development through social, cultural, educational and economic projects undertaken either independently or in partnership with other organizations and charities in Northern Ireland. 1.2 Develop programme of activities within our communities, with other communities and charity organizations, in so far as is charitable to encourage the promotion of the Filipino culture and its heritage through displays, exhibition, workshops and/ or performances. 1.3 Uniting Filipino Community in the North West by gathering members developing its unique variety of cultures and inclusion with people from diverse ethnic, religious and cultural backgrounds. 1.4 Foster the development of talents, skills, and abilities to instil a sense of pride in their own identity by supporting education, trainings and opportunities for the development of Filipino community in the North West. 1.5 Affiliate all generations through activities that will provide opportunities for culture share, language, traditional music, crafts, arts workshops, customs and traditions that were handed down from one generation to the next. 1.6 Development of fundraising methods in order to support the core programme and exclusively to serve our organization�s charitable purposes.
