    WOMEN'S RESOURCE AND DEVELOPMENT AGENCY COMPANY LIMITED 

    The Company is established to develop the capacity and skills of women (hereinafter called the �beneficiaries�) in order that they are better able to identify, and help meet, their needs and to participate more fully in society in Northern Ireland (hereinafter called the �area of benefit�) without distinction of age, gender, social origin, sexual orientation, disability, race, political, religious or other opinion, by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and the inhabitants in a common effort to provide educational opportunities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said beneficiaries and in particular to; a) promote the development of appropriate educational opportunities for women in association with relevant statutory authorities and voluntary organisations; b) provide facilities to advance the education of women in Northern Ireland who have little or no post school education; c) promote equality and diversity by elimination of discrimination on grounds of gender; d) advance activities that foster shared understanding between women from diverse backgrounds; e) develop the capacity and skills of women in Northern Ireland in such a way that they are better able to identify and help meet their needs and to participate more fully in society. f) promote the development and delivery of health programmes for women in disadvantaged and rural communities.
