Outreach workers go anywhere where rough sleepers are located using an assertive supportive and empathetic approach. Support is not time limited as they know for some it takes a significant amount of time until clients are ready to address their issues many clients have extremely complex needs such as mental and physical health problems substance misuse and lack of confidence.
