This project aims to reduce the long term impact of domestic abuse on the mother/child relationship. A therapeutic group intervention programme is offered to women and children concurrently, which directly addresses the child's experiences of the abuse they were exposed to. The programme will also equip mothers with the skills needed to adequately support their children through the healing process and helps create supportive family environments.
