The funding will be used to run a 12 month project to support volunteering opportunities for young people. The organisation will work with grassroots and medium to larger organisations to implement guidance to be developed by young people in order to recruit more young people to VIOs. The project aims to raise awareness of the benefits of volunteering for YP recruit 30 young volunteers run training sessions on youth volunteering promote peer to peer learning and help ensure youth volunteering is embedded within the sector across Leicestershire.
