Objectives

1. THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE EDUCATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF CHILDREN AND THEIR PARENTS IN BASILDON AND THE SURROUNDING AREA BY PROVIDING ACCESSIBLE SUPPORT AND TECHNIQUES TO HELP THEIR PARENTS TO ENGAGE EFFECTIVELY WITH THEIR CHILD'S SCHOOL(S) AND THE PROVISION OF PARENTING SKILLS. 2. FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO RELIEVE THOSE PARENTS/CARERS WHO ARE IN NEED, BY REASON OF AGE, PHYSICAL OR MENTAL HEALTH, ILL HEALTH, DISABILITY, FINANCIAL OR OTHER HARDSHIP BY: A. CREATING AND MAINTAINING PARENT SUPPORT GROUPS AND FORUMS. B. PROMOTING ACTIVE INVOLVEMENT IN THE LOCAL COMMUNITY THROUGH VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITIES, INFORMATION, ADVICE, GUIDANCE AND THE SIGNPOSTING OF PROGRAMMES AND/OR ACTIVITIES THAT ARE BENEFICIAL TO THAT PARENT/CARERS WELL-BEING. C. PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR EDUCATION, TRAINING AND ASSISTANCE, WITH THE AIM OF DEVELOPING SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE TO INCREASE SELF-ESTEEM AND EMPLOYABILITY.
