DISABILITY AFRICA

Disability Africa improves outcomes for disabled children through inclusive community development. We raise awareness of the rights and needs of disabled children and deliver services to meet their needs. From 31/03/18 this new CIO adopted all previous activities of the old charity called Disability Africa 1143704 which is now unregistered. Past reports are here www.disability-africa.org
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • The charity has received modest backing from a grant maker
  • The Board appears to be well diversified in terms of gender

Regulatory & Governance issues to consider:

  • The Board composition appears to be rather static

Financial issues to consider:

  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
  • On several occasions in recent years income has been less than spending
Established: 7 years
