    THE PRESERVATION AND PROTECTION OF GOOD HEALTH AMONG PEOPLE SUFFERING THE EFFECTS OF POOR MENTAL HEALTH, AND THEIR FAMILIES, LIVING IN KINGSTON UPON HULL AND THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE THROUGH THE PROVISION OF SUPPORT, INFORMATION AND AN ADVOCACY SERVICE DESIGNED TO ASSIST SUCH PEOPLE IN ACCESSING HEALTH SERVICES AND TO RAISE AWARENESS OF THEIR RIGHTS, TO ENABLE THEM TAKE AN ACTIVE ROLE IN DEVELOPING SERVICES APPROPRIATE TO MEET THEIR NEEDS, AND TO INCREASE AWARENESS OF ADVOCACY AMONGST SERVICE PROVIDERS.
