This funding will enable Dimobi Children Disability Trust to continue providing multicultural communication support advice information and help for disabled and neurodiverse children and young people living in Manchester. It will allow the charity to employ two members of staff that can coordinate and support volunteers whilst underpinning and strengthening organisational needs through funding overheads and service delivery. DCDT operates in North Manchester and offers support through various activities including culturally appropriate autism advice programmes holiday clubs food relief sibling and parent groups and information and support.
