The aim is to promote positive mental wellbeing.

Funding will pay for new staff, volunteer training and two laptops. Group aim to step change by developing their service. The new staff would recruit volunteers, develop services, build their social media profile, develop their website and look at ways to work in partnership with other charities in the local area/across North Yorkshire. The group want to focus on fundraising, getting back out into the community, and focusing on future goals/create an updated business plan to reflect areas of growth. The aim is for service users to have shorter waiting times, and more flexibility around how they take part in art therapy. Scarborough based charity supporting mental health through art.

Service intended for individuals who have lived through very challenging traumatic life events. Covid19/lockdown could be re-traumatising and make re-engaging with groupwork difficult, having possibly retreated into damaging thought patterns including suicidal ideation and self-harm.
