The funding will be used to purchase a walk in chiller unit that will be used support their service of providing anyone who is homeless destitute or in need with two free meals a day. By purchasing this chiller the organisation will be able to increase their storage space and keep items at the correct ambient temperature ready for use.

The funding will be used to provide the following: - Purchase of food to stock the foodbank. This is open on a referral basis from Local Authority services such as Probation, Social Services, Housing and also other Charities such as We are With You. This will facilitate provision of a more varied choice of food items and help us to be able to open up to referrals from local schools as we are aware these have families in need too. - Purchase of food for the twice daily hot meal service. We provide hot meals on site to those who are homeless, in need or suffering food poverty. The number of service users increases across the winter months and we need to be able to provide a greater number of hot drinks and hot meals to accommodate these.

We will provide three food kitchens per day from our venue in Leigh, while delivering over 200 food hampers to those most in need of immediate food support within the communities of Leigh.
