Objectives

(1) to act as a resource for young people living in Christchurch, Dorset and in particular the Somerford area, by providing advice and assistance and organising programmes of physical, educational and other activities as a means of:(a) advancing them in life and helping them by developing their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as independent, mature and responsible individuals;(b) advancing education;(c) relieving unemployment; and(d) preventing them from becoming socially excluded by reason of their youth, age infirmity or disability, financial hardship or social circumstances all with the object of improving their conditions of life.(2) to relieve the needs of those in need by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disability, financial hardship or social circumstances living in Christchurch, Dorset and in particular the Somerford area, by such charitable means as the trustees see fit from time to time.
