LONDON SPARK

We organise events to bring people together and let different communities meet their Polish neighbours. London Spark supports a Polish community through running Polish Citizens Advice Centre or cooperating with Polish Saturday Schools. It also promotes Polish culture by organising workshops or outdoor events.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • This charity has been successful in attracting volunteers relative to its size
  • A significant proportion of recent income was derived from major grant makers including the Government

Regulatory & Governance issues to consider:

  • Although this charity works with volunteers it does not have a Volunteer Management policy
  • The Board composition appears to be very static

Financial issues to consider:

  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
  • On several occasions in recent years income has been less than spending
Established: 8 years
