TO PROMOTE AND PROTECT GOOD MENTAL HEALTH BY ASSISTING IN THE TREATMENT AND CARE OF PERSONS RESIDENT IN THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE, HULL AND SURROUNDING AREAS, SUFFERING FROM MENTAL ILLNESS OF ANY DESCRIPTION AND THEIR CARERS IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY:THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR LIFE SKILL DEVELOPMENT INCLUDING, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, TRAINING IN CONFIDENCE BUILDING, ASSERTIVENESS TRAINING, RECOGNISING YOUR OWN SKILLS, STRESS MANAGEMENT AND MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESSPROVIDING SUPPORT IN SEEKING PAID EMPLOYMENT, UNDERTAKING ASSISTED VOLUNTARY WORK AND DELIVERING VOCATIONAL SKILLS TRAININGTHE PROVISION OF INFORMATION AND SIGNPOSTING TO OTHER SPECIALIST SERVICE PROVIDERS
