The young people will influence the system access training take part in activities and develop a range of skills confidence and gain new experiences with threee year long paid placements. The outcomes of the projects will be shared across Wales and the UK through a range of networks. £423368 will fund staff overheads training travel marketing and communications monitoring and evaluation Welsh translation. Bydd elusen Adoption UK yn galluogi plant a phobl ifanc wedi’u mabwysiadu yng Ngogledd Cymru i weithio gydag ysgolion a’r system addysg ehangach i ddylunio ymatebion i’w hanghenion. Bydd y bobl ifanc yn dylanwadu ar y system yn cael mynediad at hyfforddiant cymryd rhan mewn gweithgareddau a datblygu amrywiaeth o sgiliau hyder a phrofiadau gyda 3 lleoliad â thâl am gyfnod o flwyddyn. Bydd canlyniadau’r prosiectau’n cael eu rhannu yng Nghymru a ledled y DU trwy amrywiaeth o rwydweithiau. Adoption UK Charity will use £253809 over three years to provide peer and community support to newly adoptive parents in their first 1000 days. When statutory adoption support stops they will provide a number of mechanisms that will support families through the initial and very often hardest time during the adoption process. Volunteers with lived experience will play an important role in supporting new community members through training support groups signposting and general information.

The proposal seeks to expand the project's TESSA programme (Therapeutic, Education, and Support services in Adoption) to the rest of the UK. The aim of the programme is to ensure healthy child development and family wellbeing for families at risk of the effects of early childhood trauma. It provides early intervention support and gives families therapeutic tools and knowledge. The programme also offers peer support and access to multidisciplinary specialists. Currently it operates only in Northern Ireland.
