Building skills and confidence - Outcomes 1) Recruitment locally of 2 new staff - the key to the success of the project is local staff who can build up a rapport with those who are donating the products and the receipients. We expect the staff to be recruited from people we already have engaged with through our projects with various vulnerable community groups i.e. homelessness, mental health. 2) Increased confidence in staff through training - with support we believe the role will become an autonomous one, with extra support if required. 3) Increased transferable skills in staff through training - the skills the staff gain such as admin, interpersonnel etc could be easily transferred into other job roles in the future. Improve health and wellbeing 1) Reduction of local woman / girls living in period poverty - as the project expands we expect to have less soft evidence from our partner agencies that the needs of these woman are being met. 2) Increased availability of free sanitary products across the district - we currently have 19 distribution points and we are aiming for it to rise to 50 with the support of this funding. 3) Increased wellbeing in beneficiaries - beneficiaries will be able to access sanitary products which will increase their wellbeing as they dont have to worry about their personnal hygeine this will enable them to continue without absence either at school, college or remaining in work.
