THE CHARITY'S OBJECT (THE OBJECT) IS THE RELIEF OF THOSE IN NEED FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC BY PROVIDING SUPPORT AND CARE FOR VULNERABLE AND EXCLUDED PEOPLE - DEFINED AS FOLLOWS:- WHO EITHER HAVE BEEN, OR ARE AT RISK OF HOMELESSNESS; OR- ARE IMPRISONED, HAVE RECENTLY BEEN IMPRISONED, OR ARE AT RISK OF BEING IMPRISONED; OR- HAVE BEEN, OR ARE, ADDICTED TO ALCOHOL OR DRUGS; OR- HAVE, OR HAVE HAD, MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS.IN FURTHERING THIS OBJECT, BY SUCH CHARITABLE MEANS AS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT, THEY AIM ESPECIALLY TO SUPPORT PEOPLE WHO HAVE FACED TWO OR MORE OF THE ABOVE ISSUES. THEY WILL SUPPORT THESE VULNERABLE AND EXCLUDED PEOPLE WITH THE AIM OF RECONNECTING THEM WITH THEMSELVES AND WITH THE WIDER COMMUNITY, BY SUPPORTING THEM TO TAKE CARE OF THEMSELVES AND EACH OTHER, AND TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE WIDER COMMUNITY (AND SOCIETY). THE CHARITY AIMS TO PROVIDE THIS SUPPORT DIRECTLY TO INDIVIDUALS AND THROUGH A PROGRAMME OF ACTIVITIES INCLUDING THE PROVISION OF SUPPORT (IN THE FORM OF MENTORING, ADVICE, EDUCATION, TRAINING OR THERAPEUTIC SUPPORT). THE CHARITY ALSO AIMS TO PROVIDE HOUSING FOR THESE VULNERABLE AND EXCLUDED PEOPLE WHO ARE IN NEED OF RELIEF, UPON TERMS APPROPRIATE TO THEIR MEANS.
