CHEXS helps parents to build strong, positive relationships and trust with their child, and works with young people through a variety of innovative projects designed to build self-esteem, team-work, problem-solving and tangible skills. The organisation will use funding to cover salary costs of the Family Support Lead role. The Family Support Lead supports and helps parents/carers to have a positive and constructive relationship with their children which, in turn, supports the children to have higher aspirations and do better at school. With the funding, the project aims to support 115 families per year.
