    FAMILY HELP DARLINGTON CIO

    (1) THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF VICTIMS AND SURVIVORS OF DOMESTIC ABUSE:(A) BY PROVISION OF REFUGE ACCOMMODATION FOR WOMEN AND THEIR CHILDREN; AND(B) BY PROVISION OF EMOTIONAL AND PRACTICAL SUPPORT, ADVICE, GUIDANCE AND SUCH OTHER ASSISTANCE AS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT.(2) NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005 OR SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008.
